Founder & Managing Director
Esri Els is the Founder and Managing Director of Eduwize and a respected leader in the Skills Development industry. With more than 15 years of experience, she has built a reputation for delivering innovative, practical, and compliant training solutions that help organisations achieve meaningful and measurable results.
Her extensive expertise spans Skills Development, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE), and the regulatory landscape governing education and training in South Africa. With a deep understanding of SETA, QCTO, and Skills Development legislation, Esri works closely with clients to develop tailored strategies that maximise compliance, business growth, and workforce development.
Despite leading the organisation, Esri remains actively involved in the day-to-day operations, ensuring that every client receives the highest level of service and quality. Her passion for excellence, commitment to continuous improvement, and hands-on leadership style have shaped the culture of Eduwize, where high standards, integrity, and client success are at the heart of everything we do.

Elsie Venter
Chief Operations Officer
With over 20 years of frontline experience across a wide range of industries, Elsie brings a practical, well-rounded perspective to training and operational excellence. Her extensive industry exposure enables her to understand the unique challenges faced by organisations and to deliver solutions that are both relevant and impactful.
As COO, Elsie plays a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of training programmes and the smooth coordination of day-to-day operations. She is accredited with various Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) and has extensive expertise in assessment, moderation, and quality assurance processes, ensuring that all training meets the highest industry standards.
Her passion for empowering others, combined with her commitment to operational excellence, makes her an invaluable part of the Edu-Wize team and a trusted partner to our clients.
Zanete Garrett
Programme Operations Administrator
Zanette is an integral part of the Eduwize team, playing a multifaceted role that is essential to the smooth running of our daily operations. With more than 10 years of experience in administration, finance, and payroll, she brings exceptional organisational skills and a proactive approach to every aspect of her work.
Zanette is known for her ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining the high standards that our clients and team have come to expect.
A key area of Zanette's expertise is learner recruitment. She has a keen eye for identifying the right candidates and understands the importance of matching learners with the appropriate opportunities. Through strong communication, careful screening, and a people-centred approach, she ensures that learners are well suited to the programmes they enter, contributing to successful outcomes for both our clients and learners.

Elanie Spengler
Executive Operations Assistant
Elanie plays a vital role in supporting Management in day-to-day operations. With extensive experience in administration, operations, and financial administration across the security, financial services, and corporate sectors, she is known for her reliability, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail.
Her expertise includes financial administration, debtors and creditors support, procurement administration, contract administration, operational reporting, data management, stock control, client liaison, and maintaining accurate records. Elanie thrives in fast-paced environments, consistently delivering high-quality work while managing multiple priorities with professionalism and precision.
Her professionalism and ability to perform under pressure make her an invaluable member of the Eduwize team.
Junior Mthimunye
Learner Registration & Seta Liaison Officer
Junior serves as our Learner Registration and SETA Liaison Officer, bringing extensive knowledge and experience in working with various SETAs and the QCTO. Her strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure that learner registrations, compliance processes, and project exits are managed accurately and efficiently. With excellent people skills and a deep understanding of the Skills Development Industry and its ever-changing requirements, Junior plays a key role in ensuring successful learner outcomes and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Khomotso Modiba
Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer
Khomotso is our Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer, responsible for ensuring that all Portfolios of Evidence (PoE) meet strict SETA and QCTO requirements. Her exceptional attention to detail and disciplined work ethic ensure that nothing is overlooked and that full compliance is consistently maintained across all processes. Khomotso began her journey with us as a learner, where her potential quickly became evident, and she has since been developed into a key member of the team. She is deeply passionate about quality and plays a critical role in upholding the standards and integrity of our programmes.

Derick Ncube, a devoted father of three, seamlessly balances his roles as a learnership lecturer and a guiding force for his children’s academic pursuits. His eldest child is currently excelling in Media and Communication Sciences at the University of Johannesburg, while his youngest is studying Medical Science at Vincent Pol University in Poland. These achievements reflect the family’s unwavering dedication to education. Derick’s commitment extends beyond his family. As a learnership lecturer, he inspires and guides aspiring professionals with compassion and enthusiasm, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
